Hi, my name's John and I've just got back into coding games for the ZX Spectrum at the half century mark in life. I started programming for fun and amusement as a teenager back in 1982, mostly silly little Spectrum games written in BASIC.
My plan for now is simple. I'm going to use various versions of a tool called Arcade Game Designer (AGD) to produce even more silly little Spectrum games, under the label of Joesoft, for fun and amusement, hopefully yours and mine.
I won't be selling anything. All the games will be free. Hell, some of them won't even have loading screens or AY music. I'm just aiming for fun. But if you really enjoy a game and want to show some appreciation, donations that'll get me the odd cheeseburger or small beer will be most welcome.
If you've downloaded any of my games thanks very much. If you've made a donation I'll figure out a way to thank you for filling my belly.
Hope you enjoy whatever I manage to produce before I get burnout.
Cheers
John
